Eksistensi Mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Komunikasi Santri di Pondok Pesantren Mazroatul Lughoh Pare Kediri
Abstract
This study examines the impact of Islamic Broadcasting and Communication (KPI)
students on the communication skills of students at the Mazroatul Lughoh Islamic
Boarding School in Pare, Kediri. The study explores how these students act as agents
of change in enhancing speaking, listening, and interaction skills. A qualitative
descriptive approach was used to collect data through interviews, observations, and
documentation. The findings underscore the pivotal role of KPI students in fostering
a conducive environment for non-formal learning by providing mentorship in public
speaking, muhadloroh, and demonstrations. These students help their peers become
more confident in articulating ideas and overcoming challenges such as low selfesteem
and environmental influences. Despite facing challenges such as time
constraints and language rule violations, the KPI students' presence contributes to
expanding perspectives in preaching and fostering an environment for open
discussion. In conclusion, KPI students play a crucial role in enriching the quality of
learning and facilitating the development of optimal communication skills among
students.
